What is ExpertMD?

ExpertMD is a platform that connects attorneys with medical expert witnesses. It provides tools for intake management, case collaboration, invoicing, and secure document sharing, all protected by end-to-end encryption.

Who can use ExpertMD?

ExpertMD is available to:
  • Medical professionals — Physicians, surgeons, and other medical experts who provide expert witness services
  • Attorneys — Legal professionals who need qualified medical expert witnesses for their cases

How much does ExpertMD cost?

  • For doctors — ExpertMD charges a 2% platform fee on each invoice payment. There are no subscription fees.
  • For attorneys — Creating an account and submitting intake requests is free. Subscription tiers are available for team collaboration features.

Is my data secure?

Yes. ExpertMD uses end-to-end encryption to protect sensitive case data. Your passphrase never leaves your device, and ExpertMD staff cannot read your encrypted data. See the Security section for details.

Can I use ExpertMD on mobile?

ExpertMD is a web application that is responsive and works on mobile browsers. There is currently no native mobile app, but the web experience is fully functional on phones and tablets.
